2960X1050 WALLPAPER HD
Pebble – the entire beach was composed of small lava pebbles, with the odd differently-colored pebble in between. Lagoon – this glacier lagoon is located in Skjaftafell national park. They are the nicest animals that I’ve had the pleasure to meet in a long time. Lava Pebble – different beach, same idea. The water spray also gets over your camera and requires you to constantly wipe the lens. Cloud – I was constantly amazed by the cloud formations an contrast inversions that the Icelandic sky would present.

This blue wall with the chipped paint and the signs of which I’m not sure what they say can be found down at Reykjavik’s harbor. Esja – one of the mountains around Reykjavik. There are so many facets of this building that I could have spent an entire day just there. That’s something I wanted to do since my early childhood. I love how the lines come together to give the house a great place in the photograph.
They are also curious, so as a photographer you have to make sure you don’t get your lens chewed on. Each of these pictures comes with its 2960×10500 own story. Horse – the Iceland horses are legendary. Harpa – the big concert house at Reykjavik harbor. Ice – this is from inside the glacier cave, I loved the reflections the light from the cave entrance made on the ice walls.
Cloud – I was constantly amazed by the cloud formations an contrast inversions that the Icelandic sky would present. We took off in the bus right away, and found a river that we used as a foreground to add some reflections. Path – a small and winding path near the Reykjavik cargo port.
Waterfall – the first time of my life that I was able to walk behind a waterfall. It was filled with glacier ice, birds and seals.

Trees – a quick shot taken on a 29601050 walk, during a wonderful sunset that took much longer than 2960×105 sunsets back home. Another one that I knew would make a great wallpaper. The water spray also gets over your camera and requires you to constantly wipe the lens. Aurora – one evening, 2960s1050 sky cleared up and the earth’s magnetic field dropped enough for the Aurora Borealis to show. I first tried to capture this as a panorama, but then realized how amazing that cloud above it was, so I switched to a wide angle lens and captured it all.
Surf – one morning during cold and windy weather we ended up at a beach with tall waves and even more amazing surf. Main Hall – taken inside the Harpa, Reykjavik’s big and prominent concert hall.
Lights – taken at a restaurant in Reykjavik. Aerosol – the color contrast pulled me into this one. The blue light emanating from the walls was spectactular. This is now the standard wallpaper on my iPhone. The Aurora was only there for about two hours, then it left us again. Iceland 2 – also taken from Reykavik’s bay. A wonderfully photogenic building, both from the inside and the outside.
Much calmer sea that day and instead of pebbles we had black lava sand. I love the architecture and the blackened concrete, reminding of lava. Lagoon – this glacier lagoon is located in Skjaftafell national park. I love the textures in this picture.

This contrast extends almost everywhere, from the geology to the weather and to the landscape. Iceland – one of the sights that you get from Reykjavik’s bay on a beautiful day. When I took this picture I literally thought “this would make a lovely wallpaper”:
